| KEL RECORDS TO SIGN UP NEW ARTISTS The Kel Records family recently announced that it would be signing up new aritists on its production out fit. Before now, Kel has handeled productions for the El-tang Clan and a host of other Cameo productions. The new artists will include a female rapper and they will all be managed by Kel himself.We just cant wait to hear who's gonna be new on this. |

| 50 CENT BUYS MIKE TYSONS HOUSE 50 Cent has bought the 52-room mansion that was once owned by heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson. The notorious rapper paid .1 million for the property which boasts servants' quarters, 17 acres and a boathouse. On the market for months whilst still owned by Tyson, whose original asking price was million back in 1998, the property was never sold but eventually left to Monica Turner Tyson as part of a divorce settlement. The mansion is located in Farmington, Connecticut and has 18 bedrooms, 38 bathrooms, seven kitchens, a 3,500 square foot nightclub, theatre, pool and eight-car garage. 50 Cent's intention to move into the area has alerted the attention of local authorities. "When word got out that this may be happening, we began trying to track down who was representing him so we could meet with them to discuss any concerns," Farmington police Capt. James Rio said. "He is a citizen and we are concerned for his safety as well as the safety of the public." . |

When Snoop Dogg Said Eminem was the great white American rap saviour in the part 2 of Bitch please which was produced by Dr.dre, people felt Snoop Dogg was blabbing and rappers like Black ground's Buba spakks didn't agree to that statement. But Eminem has proven that he has all it takes to be the saviour as his last album "the eminem show" which was released in June 2002 sold over 7 million copies. The album which was produced by Dr.dre had its first single "without me" debuting at the number 1 spot on billboard's hot 100.The sophomore single "cleanin' out my closet" was a lot of people's favorite and it also did well on the chats. The album also has tracks like "business","drips","say what you say","sayin' goodbye to Hollywood" and "superman" which is currently on the billboard hot rap tracks .In October 2002 eminem still went ahead to produce THE 8 MILE SOUNDTRACK which is the first soundtrack album to come out of his record label slim shady records". It has sold over 3 million copies according to sound scan and eminem was also the main character in the movie. Eminem sold a total of 10 million copies in 2002 the highest a rapper has ever achieved in one year. Eminem, straight out of Detroit started out in 1994 with a group of friends now known as D12 but he released his first album " " in 1996. He had 3 albums to his credit before hooking up with the great doctor in 1999.The first album produced by Dr.dre on his record label "aftermath records was the "SLIM SHADY LP" and the album sold 3 million copies. Eminem had just arrived as the follow up to that album " THE MARSHAL MATTERS LP" sold over 5 million copies and won a number of awards. Eminem now stands as Dr.dre's most successful protegee as The days of snoop Dogg and dre cannot be forgotten. Snoop feels he had paid the cost to be the boss while eminem thinks it's time to handle business himself. Eminem presently has Rappers "50 cent" and "Obie trice" on his record label. CNN tipped 50 cent to be the most successful rapper in 2003 and it is definitely going his way as his just released album is currently number 1 on the billboard albums chat.
